Story Development
It begins with an idea and a story. If needed, we can connect you with an experienced and supportive scriptwriter to help develop, refine, and structure your script. Once the script is complete, we create a detailed storyboard and animatic, with your input and feedback along the way, to make sure the narrative is engaging, cohesive, and ready for animation.
2D Animation
We bring stories to life through contemporary animation and compositing techniques, working with original artworks from artists and adding dynamic movement and visual storytelling. This approach allows us to create captivating pieces that stay true to the artist's original hand and style.
3D Animation
We also animate in 3D, offering a modern and engaging way to visualise your stories. Using 3D scanning software, we can create digital versions of sculptures to animate in CG spaces. We used this process in our short film The Fix-It-Man and the Fix-It-Wooman with Yarrenyty Arltere Artists, bringing their colourful soft sculptures to life in their unique, hand-painted world.
Sound Recording
We make sure every project has high-quality audio to match its visuals. From voiceovers to location recording, sound design and original music, we use the latest audio technology to capture clear, polished sound that enhances the story of your animation. A well-considered audio mix can be just as powerful as the visuals themselves, adding depth, emotion, and atmosphere to every scene.
Sound Design
When making an animation, a huge range of extra sounds are needed to bring a story to life, from footsteps and bird calls to the background hum of an air conditioner. We create intricate soundscapes and detailed sound effects using a range of techniques, helping to strengthen the immersive experience for your audience.
Music
Music is an important part of any animation, and we can compose original music to complement any story, creating and recording in a range of styles and moods. If you have something particular in mind, we're happy to help you source it and arrange a licence.
Workshops
In addition to our animation services, we host workshops that offer professional development opportunities for artists and art workers. These sessions empower participants to learn and apply new animation techniques, building on their existing creativity. Each workshop is tailored to meet the needs of the community or organisation we're working with.
Grant Writing
We understand how important securing funding can be for creative projects, and can assist with your grant applications by providing comprehensive quotes, CVs, and other supporting material.
